Ear Amplifier — Last updated: July 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Ear Amplifier mobile application ("the App") handles your information. The App is a sound amplification utility that captures audio from your device's microphone, processes it in real time, and plays it back through your connected headphones.
The App requests the RECORD_AUDIO permission because its core
function is amplifying the sound around you. Audio captured from the
microphone is processed entirely on your device, in real time, in
memory. It is played back to your headphones within milliseconds and
is immediately discarded. No audio is ever saved to storage, uploaded to any
server, or shared with any third party — including our advertising
partners.
The App displays banner, native, interstitial and rewarded advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:
This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies:
Consent: if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) on first launch. Ads are only requested after this consent flow completes, and you can decline personalised advertising.
Your controls: you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Rewarded ads are always optional and only play when you choose to watch one.
None. Outside of the third-party ad serving described above, the App does not collect, store, or share any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or audio recordings. There are no user accounts and no analytics SDKs.
Your preferences (such as equalizer settings, presets, and your chosen language) are stored locally on your device only. They are deleted when you uninstall the App.
The App may request Bluetooth permissions solely to route processed audio to your paired Bluetooth headphones. It does not scan for, track, or store information about nearby devices.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children. Ad requests are flagged to Google with the strictest content rating ("G — general audiences") and are not tagged for child-directed treatment because the App's audience is adults.
Ear Amplifier is a sound amplification utility. It is not a medical device, is not a hearing aid, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, including hearing loss. If you have concerns about your hearing, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Listening at high volume for extended periods may damage your hearing. The App includes output limiting, but you are responsible for using a safe listening volume.
If a future version of the App adds features that change how data is handled (for example, optional audio recording, subscriptions, or cloud sync), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the changes will be summarised at the top of this page.
